About Polymorphous Photography
Creative expression has always been a compelling force in my life, driving my every day. As a child, dreaming magnificent dreams, and expressing them in as many forms as was possible for me then, and for my entire life. The word Polymorphous, many changes, best describes this process.
After college, I was assigned to the Graphics department of the US Air Force. While in the service, I continued art classes, and showed works at Munson Williams Proctor Institute, Utica, NY and the Everson Museum, Syracuse, NY. On discharge from the Service, fashion design was my passion for nearly a decade, and eventually led to costuming for a motion picture. My brush with Show Biz took me to a whole new direction. I plunged into four years of intense training in Television production, learning as much as I could about every phase of the process. Finally narrowing my interest to lighting, I plunged headlong into becoming a director of photography. It was then that computers discovered me, and soon photography and computing merged with the purchase of a Ricoh digital camera which produced a whopping 400x600 image. A couple of years passed, light years in the digital world, and I purchased a Nikon D100 SLR, which I still use today.
